These are the terms of the Founding Beta offer. Section 10 of the Terms of Service says founding-member arrangements are honoured on the terms under which they were offered; this page is those terms.
1. Who can join
The Founding Beta is open to the first 100 people who create a Themys account during the beta. Joining is free and needs no payment card.
2. Lifetime access is earned
Lifetime access is not granted automatically on sign-up. It goes to active founding members — people who help build Themys during the beta, for example by:
- reporting real bugs
- suggesting meaningful features
- taking part in testing
Creating an account on its own, or staying inactive on Discord, is not enough. Short or meaningless messages sent only to look active are ignored. We assess each member individually and decide who qualifies at the official launch.
Founding members who don't qualify move to the free plan at launch. They keep everything they created in Themys and are never asked to pay; they can choose a paid plan whenever they want.
3. What lifetime access includes
- Use of Themys with no subscription fee, for as long as Themys operates.
- All current and future features.
- The founding member badge.
AI use is included up to 300 AI requests and 180 minutes of dictation a month, the same allowance as the Pro plan. Above that, we will ask you before charging anything.
4. Once granted, it cannot be lost
Once we grant lifetime access, we will not take it away — not for inactivity, not when prices change, and not when new features are added.
It ends only if you sell or transfer it (section 5), or if your account is terminated for a breach of the Terms of Service under section 15 of those Terms.
5. It is personal
Lifetime access is tied to you: your Themys account email and your Discord account. It may not be sold, given away or transferred in any way. Any attempt to sell it ends it immediately and permanently, without compensation.
6. After launch
After launch, new users choose between a free plan with limits and paid plans from €10.40 per month, plus VAT where applicable. Prices for new users may change; that does not affect founding members who have been granted lifetime access.
